Katie Couric, while interviewing a Marine sniper, asked:
"What do you feel when you shoot a terrorist?"
The Marine shrugged and replied: "Recoil."

I saw a show on TV talking about the weapon in picture. It is amazing. It fires a HUGE projectile that travels so fast that the victim is dead before the sound of the shot reaches them.
gotta love that response
why not use your phasers or photon torpedos to blast a 15-mile crater in the earth?
