Compassion for the fallen

The other day Donald Rumsfeld briefed President George W. Bush on recent casualty figures in the Iraqi conflict.

"Mr. President, I'm sorry to announce that three Brazilian soldiers have fallen in battle."

President Bush hung his head, and wiped a tear from his eye.

"Donald," he said, "How many men are in a brazillion?"

I bet you could say this to 10 people with a dead pan face and 8 of them would believe you. Very funny, but very sad.

A co-worker did just that yesterday. He's the type that can pull that off. He sucks you right in, then drops the punchline. I laughed and laughed.

In fact, he's the guy on my links that does the Elton John tribute band. I built the website for him.

Thanks for the visit.
